Returns and Refunds

Sage Lane Collection


Effective Date: 11 August 2025


1. Our Commitment

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Sage Lane Collection. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law and will provide a remedy if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.


2. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, wrong decision or incorrect size/colour choice.
Please choose carefully and read all product descriptions before ordering.


3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Include:

  • Your order number 
  • A description of the issue 
  • Clear photos or video showing the fault or damage

We will review your request and  if approved, offer a repair, replacement, exchange or refund as required under the Australian Consumer Law.


4. Proof of Purchase

You must provide proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or receipt, for all returns or warranty claims.


5. Timeframes for Returns

  • Notification: Within 14 days of delivery for damaged, faulty or incorrect items.
  • Return Shipping: Item must be posted back within 7 days of our approval email.
  • Resolution: Refunds or replacements will be processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.


6. Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must:

  • Be in original condition, unused and with all packaging intact (unless faulty)
  • Include any accessories, tags or bonus items supplied with the order

We may refuse a return if these conditions are not met unless the item is faulty under the ACL.


7. Return Shipping Costs

  • For faulty, damaged or incorrect items: We will cover the cost of return postage.
  • For returns not covered under the ACL (e.g. goodwill exchange): You are responsible for return postage costs.


8. Non Returnable Items

Unless faulty, the following cannot be returned:

  • Personalised or custom made items
  • Gift cards or vouchers
  • Clearance or sale items clearly marked “Final Sale”
  • Items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (e.g. certain personal use products)


9. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued using your original payment method (e.g. credit card or PayPal).
We are unable to provide cash refunds for online purchases. 


10. Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


11. How to Lodge a Return Request

Subject line: Return Request – [Order Number]
Include:

  • Order number
  • Full name
  • Reason for return
  • Photos or videos showing the issue (if applicable)
